Our General Policy is:

  1. To present our pupils with as wide a curriculum as possible and to equip them with the necessary skills for acquiring and requiring information and computing with understanding, speed and accuracy.
  2. To allow each pupil the opportunity to acquire, through all the senses, such a variety of experiences as will lay the foundation for their future development and meaningful leisure.
  3. To encourage self-confidence in oral and written expression so as to enable them to communicate with ease with their peers and adults in any situation.
  4. To develop independence in each pupil through a caring and stimulating environment leading to a sense of self esteem and achievement in all pupils.
  5. To encourage, through example and discussion, acceptable attitudes, values and beliefs so as to make each individual pupil aware of the importance of good citizenship and of conservation of the local and wider environment.
